Biography Projects

            You are to choose a biography at least 150 pages long. This person can be living or deceased.  You will need to collect the following information:

1.      Book title

2.      Illustrator

3.      Author

4.      Full name of person biography is about

5.      Birth date and place, 2 childhood experiences (one paragraph)

6.      What made your person famous: quotes, inventions, ideas, actions, etc.

     ( one paragraph)

7.      4 events that happened from your person’s teen years to adult years ( two paragraphs, two events per paragraph)

8.       If he/she is living, what is he/she doing now? If dead, date deceased and how died.

9.      How do you think this person influenced others or the world, positively or negatively, and why? (one paragraph)

This report needs to be at least six paragraphs in length.  Once you have all the information (rough draft), you will then transfer the information onto butcher paper cut out in the shape of a life-size person (child). Each student will be traced in class onto the butcher paper.  You will then take it home to decorate the person with the information and “clothing” your person wore.

You will be graded on creativity, all information on the person in complete sentences, punctuation, grammar and spelling.
