1  |  2  |  3  |  4  |  5  |  6 Maryland Renaissance Festival After we entered the gates of the Maryland Renaissance Festival, we walked around and then we went to several shows.  There are numerous amphitheatres and various shops. I found out too late, but one must eat a turkey leg while at the Festival.  Otherwise your friends will apparently mock you.  It would have been good for me to have known this.  We did not go to it, but there was a 2 hour play of Macbeth.  They also had a much more rapid 30 minute version.    Upon entering the gates, you are met by this crew.          A dude playing the hammer dulcimer.    Again, the fairie chicks       I thought this guy was a bit oddly dressed.  Later, he acted like he wasn't as good at this yo-yo type device as the women were.  Then I figured it out.  He was playing the fool.       My wife and I    My cousin and I      A young knight and his mother A flea circus    Dancing Pig Pottery      Maggie's Music Celtic Tunes Glassblowing       Ye old cheesecake on a stick.       Wolfstone Kilt Company    We attended a play where King Henry VIII has just married Jane Seymore. You know, from Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.       You know what they say about old men in body armor... (I have no idea what I mean.)    Cromwell and a non-historical character.     His Royal Highness King Henry VIII and her Highness, the Lady Jane Seymore.             Renaissance Pinball.       Roast beef, beef pot roast, beef barbecue, and beef and beans.  (They sell beef here.)    I think this guy is trying to look like predator.    My wife says he is an executioner, but I say he is a sort of warrior or knight.   1  |  2  |  3  |  4  |  5  |  6
